Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of bhbutton.com (the “Site”), operated by BUTTONS HOME (HK) INDUSTRY CO., LIMITED (“BUTTONS HOME”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is an information and inquiry platform for our custom buttons, zippers and garment-accessory manufacturing services. It is intended for business users. It is not an online shop: no order is placed and no contract of sale is formed through the Site itself.

1. Use of the Site

You may browse the Site and use the inquiry tools for the purpose of evaluating and sourcing our products and services. You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or infringes the rights of others;
  • copy, scrape, harvest or republish Site content or product data in bulk, whether manually or with automated tools;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or any connected system, or interfere with its normal operation;
  • upload files that contain malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes third-party intellectual property;
  • submit inquiries that are fraudulent, misleading or not connected with a genuine business need.

We may suspend or block access to the Site for anyone who breaches these Terms.

2. Product information, catalogues and specifications

Product images, catalogue sheets, dimensions, material and finish descriptions, capacity figures and lead times shown on the Site are provided for general guidance. They describe typical options and may not reflect every variation we can produce. Colours may display differently depending on your screen. Actual specifications for your order are those confirmed in writing in your quotation, sample approval and order confirmation.

Certificates and test reports shown on the Site (for example GRS scope certificates, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, SGS or TÜV Rheinland reports) relate to the scope, materials and dates stated on each document. They do not automatically apply to every product or every order. Please ask us for the current certificate that applies to your specific project.

3. Inquiries, quotations and orders

  • Sending an inquiry through the Site, by email or via WhatsApp does not create a contract. It is a request for information or a quotation.
  • A quotation we issue is an invitation to place an order and is valid for the period stated in it. Prices may change with material costs, exchange rates, quantities and specification changes.
  • A binding order exists only when we confirm your purchase order in writing (including by email) or issue a pro-forma invoice that you accept.
  • Minimum order quantities, sampling charges, tooling (mould) charges, payment terms, delivery terms (Incoterms) and lead times are agreed per project and set out in the quotation and order confirmation. Unless stated otherwise, our standard minimum order quantity is 3,000 pieces per style.
  • Orders are governed by the terms in the order confirmation and any separate supply agreement. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the order documents prevail for that order.

4. Samples, artwork and customer materials

When you send us drawings, logos, artwork, reference samples or technical files (“Customer Materials”):

  • you confirm that you own them or have the right to have them reproduced, and that producing your design will not infringe any third party’s trademark, design right, patent or copyright;
  • you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use the Customer Materials solely to quote, sample and manufacture your project;
  • you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from our reproduction of Customer Materials at your request.

We treat Customer Materials as confidential and do not use them for other customers or publish them without your permission. Photographs of products we have made may be used in our portfolio only with your prior consent.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, photographs, catalogue sheets, videos, graphics, page layouts, the BUTTONS HOME name and logo — are owned by or licensed to BUTTONS HOME and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own business evaluation. Any other use, including reproduction on other websites or in marketing materials, requires our written permission. Third-party trademarks and certification marks shown on the Site belong to their respective owners.

6. Third-party links and embedded services

The Site links to our social-media channels and to WhatsApp, and the Contact page embeds a Google Map. These are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability.

7. Availability of the Site

We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site at any time without notice, including for maintenance and updates.

8. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided “as is” for general information. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of the Site content. Nothing on the Site constitutes technical, legal or compliance advice for your products; suitability of a component for a specific garment, market or regulation must be confirmed in your project specification and testing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BUTTONS HOME will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Liability in connection with a confirmed order is governed by the order documents.

10. Privacy

Personal data submitted through the Site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies is described in the Cookie Notice.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted on the Site, with the “Last updated” date changed accordingly. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR. Dispute-resolution terms for confirmed orders, including any arbitration clause, are set out in the relevant order documents.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Site.
