For a cufflink project, define the visible face and the fastening arrangement together. A front-view design alone does not describe the space behind the face or how the cufflink will pass through and secure the shirt cuff.
Cufflinks specification checklist
- Face dimensions, profile and thickness, with front and side views.
- A reference for the post and closure, and the cuff opening it must fit.
- Logo position, orientation and finish reference for the visible surfaces.
- Whether the order is counted as individual pieces or pairs, plus presentation packaging.
Which views should a cufflink drawing include?
Send front, side and back views or photographs of a reference sample. Mark the face dimensions and the closure arrangement. If the cufflinks form a pair, identify any left/right orientation or matching artwork requirements.
